UPDATE:
HAPPY APRIL! π·
I want to make sure and mention, the NAQG Quilling Conference this year is canceled (Springfield, Illinois May 8-9, 2020). The conference will be rescheduled soon-- 2021 will be same venue, in Springfield.
I am staying very busy making PAPER everything. My favorite YouTube channel is The Posh Paper Lady I started following last year during Christmas in July. I was immediately hooked to her short videos, clear instructions and fabulous easy projects. If you do craft shows, she has many videos with ideas and advice. Check out Sherry's channel.
I finally got my quilling strips sorted and organized into smaller containers. I am now working on organizing my quilling kits, inventory and related product to sell. I am hoping others can enjoy quilling with these kits and paper I have been hoarding all these years.
Last month, I opened up two of three Etsy stores that were closed in 2015-- itsMolly and itsMollyDos. This has kept me very busy, not much time for quilling this year (yet).
I am continuing to add new content to my quilling-related Zazzle store. Most of the items can be customized to non-quilling, if you choose-- with your colors, text, photos and sizes. Be sure you are signed up for email coupons. The last four or five gift items I purchased were at least 50% off.
Wishing you and yours, well and safe days ahead.
Thanks for stopping by.

Minature Quilled Flowers in a Pot
HAPPY APRIL! π
My niece makes beautiful mosaic birdhouses and asked me to put flowers in tiny wooden flower pots to go on the outside of the birdhouses (indoor dΓ©cor). I made my first one. Only took me five hours from start to finish. π
I quilled with a small "quilting needle" using English quilling paper purchased at Quilling Supply that is more narrow than the 1/16" American strips. I plan to put fringed flowers in the next one. It stands about 1.25" (3 cm) tall.
Thanks for looking!

I used one or two seed beads between the beads as shown.

I get ALL my jewelry tools, materials, supplies, beads, findings from Fire Mountain Gems.
I keep all my pin pieces that are 1" or longer. This was left from cutting the 2-inch headpin and perfect for making a bead charm.

NAQG 2018 Announcement
I only have the 2018 NAQGCON date and location.
May 10-12, 2018, held at the Embassy Suites DFW North, located in Grapevine, Texas. Six minutes north of DFW Airport and between Fort Worth and Dallas (30-45 minutes).
You do not need to be a member of NAQG to attend the convention. I'll post as soon as registration opens. Information will be in the Fall edition of Quill America.
Happy Fall Y'all ~
A reminder, I have samples of Quilled Fall Leaves on my website. I used them on the cover of this Fall paper bag photo album I made for my daughter.

(Quick note: I accidentally deleted 700+ photos from the blog. I am in the process of replacing them all, slowly but surely. This is why there are older posts without pics!)

NAQGCON update
The
NAQGCON was a huge success, thanks to Roxanne's diligent planning and fun activities!
Thank you to all attendees, for your
friendship and if you happened to take my class. I enjoyed meeting each
of the first-timers. We had quillers from Peru, Japan, Sydney, England and Canada. Thank you for making the long trip!
Can't wait to see the next copy of the NAQG Newsletter at all the photos. My class photos didn't come out well and I took no other pics.
Check out the NAQG FB page (closed to members only) for lots of updates and continued conversations about the convention.
Example of a scrapbook layout using quilled motifs and baby buggy. This was one of six. Email me for a pdf of instructions, if interested.
Please keep in touch here and via email. I am on
Facebook so little.
Happy June!
Hugs,
Molly
