Should I, or Not?

After some inquires and noticing Google searches from people, oh ... and a lot of thought about it, I finally decided to make a man's paper bead bracelet!!! Well, this one is going to be called Unisex because I would wear it myself with jeans and a brown whatever. So I asked my husband to model it for my Etsy Store photo and he liked it. (YAY) I think my best friend and daughter will like it. (YAY) I just don't know if I want to go in this direction and out of my comfort zone :)

So, I found this lovely two-tone, brown flannel-looking paper in my DCWV The Christmas Combo Stack! YES, this is Christmas paper.. but play like you don't know this. You can be my 'focus group person' and please tell me the truth.

Will a paper bead bracelet work for a man? Or should I stick to the norm and continue to do the "for her" designs?

Thanks for any comments. And I can handle the "nays". You will be doing me a favor.

Have a wonderful crafty Wednesday!
~Molly

I think no harm in making some..If not liked by men, women will surely like it as it can also be worn by them :)

Why not? You can give a try. The men who wear bracelets will appreciate them, I`m sure. My husband is not the type that wear jewels for men, soo...

Some guys like to wear bracelets...and some girls don't like frilly stuff. I think that it is all about the color...go crazy experiment!! Make some with a more manly feel...nothing ventured nothing gained!

What the heck,

P.S.you could make matching tie tacks!! LOL

Thank you for taking the time to comment! I just needed a little reassurance to go ahead and list. I know there is a boatload of men's bracelets on Etsy - mostly leather and real beads. I'll give it a try. Thanks! xo

Sue, LOL! Cuff links and a tie tack!

Go for it, what do you have to lose. My husband is not the jewelry type of person but I know some guys who would wear that. I would wear that too. And like you said, label it as a unisex bracelet and you're good to go :)

I think it looks great! It can be really hard to craft for men, so the more male-friendly designs out there, the better.

I honestly don't know too many men that would wear a bracelet like that. I like it though, you should definitely create more, you could do a couple in masculine colors and if the men aren't buying, women probably will. Very nice indeed.
